This 71 GTO that Matt's father bought back in 73 was drove every summer and stored in the winter. They are the second owners and bought it from the original owner. They pulled out the trans and then the engine came out. Then a friend convinced Matt to take the rest of the front clip off. Then the whole car was torn apart and his dad told him he would never get it back together again. Well he knew other wise and got the car back together and it turned out great.The original color is black and yes it came with the stripes. His dad held on to the original window sticker from when it was new. It has alot of special order options on it that added up to 4,933.00 dollars, Which is more than the judge was new. The options were the L75 4 BBL 455 performance engine 34p, M40 Turbo trans 35L, G80 safe t track differential 361, PJ4 15in fiberglass tires TXL, U57 Tape player 8 track 412, D55 console front seat 431, D35 console color O/S mirrors LH remote 434, NK3 formula steering wheel 464, N41 power steering501, JL2 power brakes disc 502, N98 wheels rally two474, N33 Steering wheel tilt 504, AO1 Glass soft ray all windows 531, C49 electric rear window defroster 534, D80 air spoiler rear 572, D98 stripes vinyl 614, U25 lamp luggage 662, U26 lamp under hood 671, UA1 battery heavy duty 692, and U30 rally gauge cluster tachometer. Final assembly was in Fremont Calif and it was delivered to Arrow Pontiac in St Paul Minn. So as you can see, this is one of a kind and great!!!
