  • 1. Chris is looking for a 1965 Ragtop GTO. He sold it in Illinois in the mid 80's. The VIN was 237675P280967. He is curious to know where it went and if the current owner would like to sell.
    2. Bobby is looking for his Red 1965 GTO. He traded for a 1970 model in Denison Texas in 1972. It was a red hardtop with red interior, auto, 4 bbl, a/c, P/s and P/b. Both of his children were brought home from the hospital in it when they were born and now they are grown. VIN# is 237375K124095.
    3. Charles is looking for his 1965 GTO Hardtop, red with red interior. VIN number 237375P172618. Ordered with no pinstripe and no center console. Tri-Power, 4 speed w/Hurst, posi-traction 3.23 rear end, heavy duty suspension (springs & shocks), rear sway bar as used on the Olds 442 that year, metallic brakes, steel wheels w/wheel covers, faux wood steering wheel dash inside trunk release, removable/retractable trunk light, underhood light, power steering, power brakes, radio, heater and air conditioning. Every performance and convenience option in the RPO book. He purchased it new from Sumner-Ramsey Pontiac in January of 1965. Sold to Welling Used Cars in 1968. Sold by Welling to an individual in Lorimor, IA. (Don't know the name). Thanks.
    4. Wanted dead or alive... Larry owned his 1965 GTO 41 years ago, VIN #237375k134962. It was sold from the northwest side of Chicago, IL. It was then registered in the name of George A. Baker. It was burgundy with a black interior and black vinyl top. It had a 389 with tri-power, 4-speed and 390 gears. Larry would like to purchase it, or see it again. Please contact if you own or know if this car is still alive...
    5. Phil bought his 1965 Goat as an 18 year old kid in 1967. What a thrill! Wife, Army, bills...sold it. Would desperately like to find it, if it's still alive and re-purchase. Traded to dealer in Ft. Walton Beach, FL. in 1973. The VIN is incorrect as he doesn't have the "letter", all he has is what was on his insurance card...237375"2"128772. Car was white/black vinyl top, 4 speed, 389, 4bbl. Please help...
    6. Ken's dad bought a gto new back in 1965. Then 2 years later sold it to his best friend. A month later it was stolen never to be seen again. His dad's best friend got hurt 10 years ago and suffered permanant brain damage and his dad swears he saw his car recently but couldn't turn around fast enough to catch up with it. What makes it unique is he installed headrests in it from a 1966 goat and also had a trailer hitch on it. The only number his dad could find is on the original bill of sale, if anyone can help him find this car Ken would be forever grateful. His dad's best friend can not drive anymore but owns a 1967 goat convertible and to find this car would be a dream come true for Ken so he could possibly get it back to his dad. The number he has is VIN#237375P179997, the car was seen in Stratford, CT. if anyone knows a way to trace this car to its current owner he would appreciate it.
