  • 1. They owned a 1966 GTO, purchased in Delray Beach, Florida. They sold it and now would like to see if they can find it. The serial number they have is missing one digit (2nd to the end). It was a two door coupe blue with white top, parchment interior, 4 spd, 3-2's, 389, A/C, all gages, ps, pb, rally wheels with console. Serial number 242176P1750-1. Anybody have any info on this car this couple would love to know about it. His 60th birthday is in August...love to find it if it's still out there.
    2. Back in 1966 Jason's father, who at the time lived in California, purchased a 1966 GTO from the dealer. It was tiger gold and it had a 67 front end on it from the factory. It was a 4spd, 389 tripower car. Had the close ratio transmission along with headers and 4:11 rear end gears installed at the dealer. It also had a black vinyl top. No options on this on this car, just power. The car was sold in Rochester, NY. in 1970 for $600.00. The car was sold with about 80,000 miles on it. Any idea of the where abouts would be appreciated!
    3. Mel restored his 1966 GTO in 1980-81 and had to sell it because of a move. He would like to find it again and see if it still lives. It was Charcoal Grey Imron with Alfa Romeo Red Scoop stripe down the middle of the trunk as well. It was a 400ci, with a 3spd on the floor. The interior was black and silver crush velvet throughout in the original stitching. Sold in Hays, Kansas in 1984 to a man named Allan, can't remember his last name, but he knows Allan was buying it for his 16 year old son. He heard later, they were racing the car at a drag strip about an hour away. Thanks!
    4. Ted is looking for a 1966 GTO. It was sold many years ago. Would like to know where it is. If still exists. Vin number 242176P165780. He bought it new in Hillsboro, Ohio.
    5. Craig is looking for his old 1966 Ram-Air GTO that he owned new, with Ram-Air 3/2's, 389 4speed on the floor. He has window sticker for serial no. 242176P340600.
    6. Jim had to sell his 1966, 2dr HT, GTO years ago . It was a 389 , 4bbl , 4Spd , Barrier Blue with white interior. S/N 242176K140426. He would like to find the vehicle or know what happened to it.
    7. David is looking for his 1966 GTO black vinyl / green. Purchased in 3-29-1977 from the original owner. Sold her in 1978 or 1979 while living in Seymour, Indiana. Automatic transmission and plain jane when he sold her. Was starting a family and decided when gas hit $1.00 per gallon she had to go. What a laugh. He has carried the VIN in his wallet for the past 30 years. VIN- 242176P237198. Any help locating her is appreciated.
    8. Jodi is curious where his GTO is these days. He sold it in the early 1990s to someone in the Portland, Oregon area. 4-speed manual transmission, 389, vinyl roof, and VIN is 242176P204144. Thanks.
