(December 4, 2006) Back in 1966 Jason's father, who at the time lived in California, purchased a 1966 GTO from the dealer. It was tiger gold and it had a 67 front end on it from the factory. It was a 4spd, 389 tri-power car. Had the close ratio transmission along with headers and 4:11 rear end gears installed at the dealer. It also had a black vinyl top. No options on this on this car, just power. The car was sold in Rochester, NY. in 1970 for $600.00. The car was sold with about 80,000 miles on it. Any idea of the where abouts would be appreciated!

(January 1, 2007) Mel restored his 1966 GTO in 1980-81 and had to sell it because of a move. He would like to find it again and see if it still lives. It was Charcoal Grey Imron with Alfa Romeo Red Scoop stripe down the middle of the trunk as well. It was a 400ci, with a 3spd on the floor. The interior was black and silver crush velvet throughout in the original stitching. Sold in Hays, Kansas in 1984 to a man named Allan, can't remember his last name, but he knows Allan was buying it for his 16 year old son. He heard later, they were racing the car at a drag strip about an hour away. Thanks!

(January 28, 2008) David is looking for his 1966 GTO black vinyl / green. Purchased in 3-29-1977 from the original owner. Sold her in 1978 or 1979 while living in Seymour, Indiana. Automatic transmission and plain jane when he sold her. Was starting a family and decided when gas hit $1.00 per gallon she had to go. What a laugh. He has carried the VIN in his wallet for the past 30 years. VIN- 242176P237198. Any help locating her is appreciated.

(October 8, 2008) Logan's dad bought his 1966 GTO off the show room floor. He chose not to get the tri-power but rather the four barrel. The car was originally bullet grey and had a hurst shifter that was four on the floor. He does not remember much else about his beloved car, than the fact that his lisence plate said SRC 543 and that it hauled like no other. Unfortunately, he sold it in 68 or 69 and never saw it again. If anyone can help at all it would be much appreciated. Thank you!

(February 6, 2009) Petra is searching for a former NFL-Europe Player who had purchased a 1966 GTO, color white, in the year of either 2008 or maybe even 2007 in Colorado, possible either in the area of Westminster or Brighton. She would also appreciate any information from someone who may have any information about the sale and/or whereabouts of this car. This car was illegally sold. This car was part of a seperation agreement. Per seperation agreement her ex-husband was supposed to keep the car in his possession until their son turns 21 years of age and then sign it over to their son. Petra is in possession of the title of this car and loan documents. If you do have have any information, please contact GTO Alley.

(May 9, 2009) Greg purchased his 1966 GTO new from Weidner Pontiac in Mansfield, Ohio. It was a Nightwatch Blue hardtop with a black vinyl top and black interior. It had a 4 bbl carb and 4 speed transmission. He unfortunately does not have the VIN number. He sold it in late 1967 because he was moving to Florida and needed the cash. He would like to know if this car is still in existence and if so would love to see it again.

(July 18, 2009) Robert's 1966 GTO was stolen in 1975 or 1976 when it was parked while he was
going to school in Queens, NY. He still has dreams about looking for it
and finding it. His GTO was really unusual, a beautiful White with black
interior, high rise bucket seats. Back then he never saw another GTO
with high rise buckets. A very distinguishing feature was it came from
factory or was dealer installed with a search light. Everybody knew his
GTO because of that search light. The rear window had a sticker with
initials SICC which stood for Staten Island Community College. Car was
all stock and perfect body. Only thing wrong with it was, he remembers the
chrome trim in the upper corner of the drivers side rear tail light was
slighty loose. Any help or info will ge so greatly apprecited.
